Privacy Policy
Field Report is designed to keep your report data private and under your control. No account is required, and your projects, photos, notes, and generated reports are stored on your device.
Information you create in the app
Field Report may process project names, site photos, notes, annotations, optional location and timestamp metadata, assignees, status information, company branding, signatures, and report settings. This information is stored locally on your device. We do not upload report content to our servers.
Permissions and device features
- Camera and photo library: used only when you capture or import report photos.
- Location: used only when you choose to attach a site location to a photo.
- Microphone and speech recognition: used only when you start dictation. Field Report requires supported on-device speech recognition and does not upload recorded audio to our servers.
You can change these permissions at any time in iOS Settings.
Purchases and RevenueCat
Payments are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate the one-time Offline Pro purchase, restore entitlements, prevent purchase fraud, and understand aggregate purchase performance. RevenueCat receives anonymous purchase history and limited technical information needed to provide these services. We do not provide RevenueCat with your report photos, report content, name, email address, or a custom account identifier.
Purchase history is used for app functionality and purchase analytics, is not linked to your identity by us, and is not used to track you across apps or websites. RevenueCat’s handling of data is described in its privacy policy.
Exports, backups, and sharing
PDF reports, original-photo exports, and backup files are created locally. If you choose to share, save, or move one of these files, the destination app or service you select will handle it under that service’s own privacy practices.
Analytics, advertising, and tracking
Field Report contains no advertising SDK and does not use behavioral analytics or cross-app tracking. We do not sell personal information. RevenueCat provides only the purchase validation and aggregate purchase analytics described above.
Retention and deletion
You control locally stored report data and can delete projects, photos, backups, or the app at any time. Apple and RevenueCat may retain transaction records as required to provide purchase restoration, financial reporting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
Children
Field Report is a professional productivity app and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning personal data processed by our service providers. Contact us for help with a privacy request. Purchase and payment records held by Apple are also governed by your Apple account and Apple’s privacy practices.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the app or legal requirements change. The effective date above will identify the latest version.
